It’s graduation time so that means graduation cards. The sentiment I used on the front of this card is from the Word Play #120308 $41.95 or #120651 $28.95 stamp set. This set is retiring and will be gone soon, so if you have it on your wish list now is the time to get it.

The little graduation hat on the front opens up.

Inside I stamped the sentiment “The Tassel was worth the Hassle” from the Pure Gumption stamp set #126315 $16.95 or #126317 $12.95.

Tomorrow I will have a video on how to create these quick and easy little hats.

These InColor colors are so pretty and I think they coordinate together beautifully. I had lots of butterflies to make with pearls and when I ran out of pearls I went to rhinestones.

I was making my Thank You cards yesterday for those who placed online orders with me while I was gone to Fiji. I decided to use up my scrap pieces to make today’s card using the sketch. Tomorrow I’ll show you the card I made for everyone who placed orders.

I promise to start up my videos again next week Thursday and Friday. I’ve just been so busy since getting back from vacation. What is it? You are so busy getting everything done before you go on vacation and when you get home you are scrambling to get caught back up; plus dealing with jet lag. I need a vacation from the vacation; but then I’d really get behind. It’s a vicious cycle.

If you are wondering when the next round of techniques will start I’m shooting for September. A couple of reasons for the delay.
- When I saw the new Stampin’ Up! catalog I noticed that they discontinued a large number of products that I was going to use in the upcoming techniques. Since I strictly do Stampin’ Up! products I have to rework my techniques and rewrite them.
- With school ending in a few short weeks; I think it is best to wait until the kids are back to school so everyone can begin at the same time. Summers around here are short so we like to spend as much time outside as we can; like the majority of you I think.

Don’t worry I will continue to post daily and will still be doing videos. The videos will be tips, tricks, boxes, bags, tags, cards etc.

Today is my Stamp a Stack class and I featured mainly all the wonderful stamp sets, inks and papers that are retiring soon!

This was a favorite set of mine. My oldest son was so into heavy equipment when he was younger; he could spend hours and hours watching these machines do their work. I’m definitely keeping this set to make cards for his boys someday.

We had an additional challenge this week and that was to make a Graduation card using this sketch. Hmmm I had to put my thinking cap on for this one; plus it was 10:45PM when I decided I better get to work on my card.

I used the Pure Gumption #126315 $16.95 or #126317 $12.95 stamp set and the Blue Ribbon #125979 $28.95 or #125981 $20.95 stamp set on this card. Both have graduation images and sayings so they paired together perfectly.

I like to make my graduation cards black, gray, and red with a splash of white. I also used the Neutrals Designer Series Paper and the Perfect Polka Dots folder.

Well it is almost 11:30PM so I best get to bed; another busy day tomorrow.

When I looked at this sketch our new Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape came to mind. The little strips on the sketch just looked like tape to me. I matted two of the 3 colors of Washi Tape onto Whisper White card stock to make it stand out more.

The Sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set.

Yesterday was Mother’s Day and all my kids were home. I knew that Dean, my youngest, was making a card for me because he came upstairs from my Stamp Room and asked if Dazzling Diamonds comes out? Comes out of what, I asked? Well, clothes and does it wash off your skin? LOL Yes, you’ll be fine. My daughter said Whoa he’s been filming way too many videos, he knows all the products by name! LOL Yes, he does.

Here is my card made by Dean; stamps were chosen by Neil:

He tried to put Dazzling Diamonds on the flower but since he didn’t use the heat & stick all it did was emboss it. The tricky part was cutting out the square using the paper Trimmer plus the matt was perfect. He wasn’t too happy with his end result; he said last year’s was better but, I think he did fine.

The 3 older kids decided to make me lunch. They saw Turtle hamburgs on pinterest and decided that’s what we were having.

Turtle Burgers are Delicious! It was fun watching the kids making them and everyone thought they were good.

When I went down to my stamp room to get my Mom’s Mother’s Day card this is what was standing in the doorway:

The kids had my nephew carve this sign for me to put in the driveway.

It was a great day! I love to see all my kids work together to be creative and have fun.
