Can I just buy for myself and get the Demonstrator Discount without having workshops and classes?
Yes, you can be a demonstrator and just buy for yourself and receive the discounts and all the other benefits.
How Much is the Starter Kit?
The new-demonstrator Starter Kit—a steal at just $99.00 and what’s even better is you decide what you want in your kit. You choose the products that you want.
How do I sign up? Is there a lot of paperwork and does it take long to get my Demonstrator ID and Password?
It is very easy to sign on all you have to do is log into my website: www.gcalkins.stampinup.net and click on Join the Fun (it is the last box along the top edge), once you have done that click on Join Now it is on the left hand side. Once you are here it will ask you to agree to the demonstrator agreement form (which I would print if I were you and read it over later it is quite lengthy) click accept and then it will bring up the choice of kits (including MDS or just the products you want). You will enter in the product numbers for the items you want in your kit. You cannot go over the $99.00. It will ask for credit card payment and you are done. There are NO shipping charges on the Starter Kit just sales tax. Within the hour you will receive your Demonstrator ID# and Password. You can then log into Stampin’ Up! as a Demonstrator and begin ordering if you want to.
I’ve decided I don’t want to be a Demonstrator after all?
Once you receive your starter kit there really is no obligation to remain a demonstrator if you receive your kit and decide you don’t want to be a demonstrator simply stop ordering; it’s that simple. No calls why haven’t you ordered or why haven’t you done a workshop; no HASSLES! You can stop being a demonstrator at ANY time.
How much do I have to order to remain a Demonstrator?
You need to submit a min. of $300 in orders a quarter. The Stampin’ Up! quarters are (Jan. Feb. Mar.) (April, May, June) (July, Aug. Sept.) (Oct. Nov. Dec.) So what that means is you have 3 FULL months to get $300 in orders in. You can put it in all at one time or spread it out; they don’t care how the orders come in as long as they are over $300. If you were to sign on in July your first FULL quarter wouldn’t end until Dec. 31, 2011 so you would have until the end of December to get in your first $300 in orders to stay an active demonstrator. This is because you signed on during a quarter (July has already begun so you get until the end of Dec. ) (Your kit price does not count towards your quarter.)
What is the Demonstrator Discount?
Demonstrators always receive 20% off. Plus if your sales are over $400 in a month you will receive an additional 5% back from Stampin’ Up! This will be deposited in an account you specify when you first sign in to the Stampin’ Up! website as a Demonstrator. You can receive up to an additional 20% back from Stampin’ Up! based on your total sales for the month. So you have the potential of getting 40% off depending on your monthly sales.
Any other Perks?
As a new Demonstrator on your first order that you place that is over $150.00 you will receive a 30% Discount. So, can I sign on; place my first order over $150.00 get the 30% discount and then never order again and drop as a Demonstrator with no penalties? YES, you can.
If you place a $300.00 order for 3 FULL months you will receive 2 FREE stamp sets any price from any of the catalog (hostess sets excluded). Because you would be signing on in the middle of July you would have July and August to get in $300 and then you would need $300 in Sept. and October to qualify for the 2 FREE sets.
If you keep placing $300.00 order for the next 3 months (Nov. Dec. Jan.) you would receive an additional 2 FREE stamp sets any price from any of the catalogs. (Hostess sets excluded)
If you do order $300 per month for the first FULL Six months (until the end of Jan. 2012) you are a Demonstrator you will receive a $50.00 Product Bonus (your choice up to $50.00) Stampin’ Up! will send you a letter of recognition and explain how to go about getting your reward.
Each recruit (person you sign on to Stampin’ Up!) you sign on during your first 6 months you will receive a FREE stamp set any price from any of the catalogs. (Hostess sets excluded)
If you promote to Supervisor (one recruit and you have submitted $3600 in sales) during this 6 month period (ending Jan. 2012) you will receive a $175.00 CASH Bonus.
We can preorder from the Mini catalogs a month before they go public. We can preorder selected items from the Big catalog a month before it comes out.
