Today is the sketch challenge at the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday sketch challenges.

Here is the sketch for this week:

Here is my take on the sketch:

This week we had an additional challenge. We needed to incorporate the color Red somewhere on our card. Well that’s not that hard to do when it is this close to Christmas and the Christmas card ideas are flowing.

I chose to use the little Tree from the Scentsational Season #121026 $18.95 or #121190 $14.95 stamp set and die cut it out using the Holiday Collection framelits #127814 $24.95 and the Big Shot. A better deal is to get the Bundle at 15% off this included the stamp set and framelits #129945 $36.95 wood or #129946 $32.95 clear.

The little Red “bulbs” on the tree are Rhinestone jewels colored with a Red Sharpie Marker:

The DSP is from 2 different paper packs: Candlelight Christmas #126901 $12.95 and Be of Good Cheer #126896 $10.95.

The Sentinment is from the Greetings of the Season stamp set #128030 $15.95 or #128033 $11.95.

I added a Real Red button tied with some Linen Thread. The ribbon is Gumball Green 3/8″ Stitched #126848 $8.95.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
