A Cardinal Christmas

Wednesday, July 29, 2009

What Christmas already?? It’s never too early to get a jump start on your Christmas cards.? I had?this sample of the New Final Press Textured Impressions folder laying on my table and decided I had to create a card with it, so here you go:

?

I got my layout from the Mojo Monday challenge for this week.? It isn’t exactly like the sketch but I didn’t want to take away from the Cardinal so I left a few of the items off.? I embossed my Cardinal in Black and colored him in with markers, then I cut him out and popped him up onto the Whisper White Circle I created using the Circle Scissors.?

Recipe:
CS:? Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White
INKS:? Real Red, More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Close to Cocoa markers, Black craft and classic ink pads
SS:? Cardinal Christmas
Accessories:? Scallop Circle for Big Shot, Circle Scissors Plus, Final Press embossing folder, Big Shot, dimensionals

Happy Stamping!
