A Good Man Paired with Beautiful Moments

A good man stamp set pairs really well with the Beautiful Moments stamp set from Stampin' Up! I'm not that great at creating scenic cards but I think this one turned out okay seeings how I haven't done a lot of these before. A little paper tearing, sponging and some blends and it came together okay. Details are on my blog here: https://wp.me/p59VWq-bik #stampinup #thestampcamp #glendasblog #fathersday

I paired the A Good Man stamp set with the Beautiful Moments stamp set because I was thinking of my granddaughter’s Sophia, Giselle and my son-in-law Zach.  This will be Gigi next year when she can walk but, the two of them already get along so well together.   I know Sophia is going to be a great big sister and hold Gigi’s hand just like this when they go to the beach.

I colored the girls dresses in pink and purple because it also reminded me of me and my sister although I should have colored the older girl in pink because I was the pink girl and the little girl in purple because my sister was the purple girl.

To get the sand look I tore some Crumb Cake card stock and then did a bit of sponging on it.  For the sky I cut some masks and sponged on some Balmy Blue.

I think the card turned out okay; maybe it is because of all the different colors I used; maybe I should have went with more of a coordinating color palette.   Maybe had the girls dresses match and changed the yellow chair to a green color.  I’m not sure, the pictures this time I think look better than the actual card hahahaha; that’s a first!
