A Quick and Easy Gift For Dad that the kids can make!

Sunday, June 13, 2010

Next Sunday is Father’s Day so here is a quick and easy little gift the kids can make for Dad.? This uses the Petal Die and the Big Shot.? The Petal Die is on the Retiring list so if you don’t have it place your order today!? You can really do a lot with this little die, I’m really surprised Stampin’ Up! is retiring it.

Okay so what is the quick and easy gift you ask. :)? How about a bookmark for Dad?? This can be made by kids of any age and can be done in no time!
?

All you have to do is run the card stock thru your Big Shot on the Petal Die, fold 2 of the petals over and cut the other two off forming a square look as shown.? Decorate the flaps and your done.? We used the Alphabet set and the “D” for Dad.? Put this bookmark in a card with a gift certificate to Barnes and Nobles book store and I think Dad will be a happy camper.

Place your order for the Petal Die and the To The Nines Specialty Paper here.

Have a Great Day!

Another great idea, Glenda! I love your blog. This past week has been extremely stresssful and looking at these blogs gives me a getaway for a few moments.

Glenda, I loved how well your project turned out. When I first came up with the idea of this bookmark,
I thought nobody would pay attention to it because is so simple but I was sooo wrong!! So many people
have CASED it…I’m happy it turned out to be a great project for so many SU! demonstrators. An idea:
clear emboss the letter and you’ll see how pretty they look. Good job!
