Another Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty paper

This is another print from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty papers from Stampin’ Up! Again, this paper is on the retired list.

The stamp set I chose to go with the paper today is the Climbing Roses stamp set from the Occasions catalog and yes, it is on the Retired list as well. You can no longer get it in the bundle as it is sold out BUT you can purchase just the stamp set.  I’ve created some really pretty cards using this stamp set and didn’t use the framelits on them; so you can create beautiful cards with just the stamp set.

I colored my Roses using the Night of Navy Blends and the Granny Apple Green Blends. I did use the framelits to die cut out the flower sprig but, you can easily hand cut these out as I have done before.

The ink that I use whenever I am using the Blends to color in my stamped images is the Black memento ink.

The label that the sentiment was stamped on is also a framelit from the bundle but, you could easily use the Everyday Label punch to get similar results.  Sometimes it is much easier to punch out your sentiment than it is to run it through the machine using the framelits.

To finish off the card I added some pearls to the sentiment.

Measurements

  • Night Of Navy card stock 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″
  • Whisper White card stock 4″ X 5 1/4″

The Whisper White piece of card stock is for the inside of your card.  I like to add a piece of Whisper White or Very Vanilla card stock inside depending on which color I used on the front of my card.  This gives a nice place to either write or stamp your inside sentiment or greeting.

The Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut piece on the front was just trimmed out of the paper pack.  To adhere these delicate prints to your cards or projects I used the Liquid Glue.
