Baby Boy!

Today is the Stampin’ Queens Sketch Challenge and here is the sketch for this week:

Let me say this striped layout gave me a run for my money. As I looked at the sketch all I could think of was the flag; so other than recreating a flag I went with the Baby Boy Blanket approach. Instead of using the scallop border I went with the Baja Breeze Pleated Satin Ribbon. My babies all loved to feel the satin on their blankets and the satin binding got replaced many times before the blanket was worse for wear.

So here is my take on the sketch:

I made this card for my friend Rachel who just had a baby boy last month. I still need to get over to her house yet and visit with Owen, Oh and Rachel too. 🙂

Make sure to check the right hand side bar for the FREEBIE of the week and the Double “D” Bow Maker details.

Tomorrow is my Frenchie/Stamp Camp Challenge and I can’t wait to show you what I have done, so cute!

Happy Stamping!
