Birthday Blooms
I’ve finally decided to give this stamp set a try. Yes, I mean a try.

If you come to my blog regularly then you know I shy away from any of the outline image stamp sets.

What do I mean by outline image stamp sets?

These are stamp sets that require you to color them in either by Watercoloring, markers or in today’s card using the new Wink of Stella markers.

Yes, you heard me right I used the Clear and the Gold Wink of Stella markers on today’s card.

I stamped the flower image using the Archival Black ink and picked up the color from the cover of my stamp pads using the Clear Wink of Stella Marker and then added a little Gold Wink of Stella here and there.

I’m showing different ways to use the Wink of Stella markers this month in my stamp club so I’ve been playing around with the different techniques.

The ink pad colors I used to color in my flower image was Melon Mambo and Mint Macaron.

The striped Designer Series Paper in the background is from the It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Stack.

Hi Carla, You can do it. I need more practice but it makes coloring in a little easier for me. Have fun and thanks for commenting.

Thanks Susan, Yes, give it a try. I think next time I might emboss the outline image and then color it using the wink of stella and inks might help me to stay in the lines better. 🙂
