Cheer Up Buttercup!

Thursday, August 14, 2014

After texting with my daughter yesterday on the phone I decided to make her a card. If you hadn’t heard she moved to North Carolina in June a 16 hour drive from us; so we have been texting and talking over the phone.

She hasn’t been having a very nice week; so far she’s been to the emergency room (she’s on an antibiotic and is feeling much better) and she had to work Tuesday night and only made $35.00 in 6 hours.

Okay back to the card for today. I was looking through the catalog for a sentiment I could put on the card for her and came across the Geometrical stamp set. It has the sentiment “Cheer Up Buttercup”. Perfect!

Here is the card:

I thought the fun shape from the Kinda Eclectic reminded me of a sun so I stamped that in Hello Honey and I like Black, Yellow and White together so that’s how the color combination came about.

The DSP is from the Lullaby pack.

Have you sent out a card to someone lately? I challenge you to mail out a card to make someone’s day this week. Tell them “Cheer Up Buttercup”!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

what a nice mamma you are; being so far away & not feeling great makes for rethinking “should I have moved?” wonderful card & I don’t own either stamp set (I need to)
