Coffee and a Card Class Floating Image Technique

Monday, November 28, 2011

This week Wednesday is Coffee and a Card class again and I wanted to try out a new technique; well at least new to me. I’ve had the instructions to make this type of card for a while now but just never gave it a try. Well a few weeks ago I went on a scrapbooking weekend; where instead of scrapping I made cards. I went with a bunch of different techniques that I’ve never done and came home with some fun new cards for some upcoming classes.

This is called the Floating Image technique and here is my take on this technique:

The Ornament punch was the perfect punch to use for this technique. I really like how it coordinates so well with the Northern Flurry Impressions folder. I used the alcohol mixed with the Champagne Mist shimmer paint to give my card a very pretty sparkly look. The Rhinestone Jewels added just the right finishing touch.

Only a couple more days to get in on the Holiday Extravaganza Sale. If you would like to place your order go to my website HERE.

Thanks for stopping by,
Glenda
