Color Challenge and Catalog Case

Wednesday, December 29, 2010

I went to splitcoast again today for a challenge.  I did the color challenge last week and had so much fun with it that I decided I’d give it a try again this week.  The color challenge this week is Night of Navy, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and any neutral card stock.  With color palette in mind, now it was time to come up with a layout and stamp set.  Hmm, not much time to prepare or stamp so I pulled out my catalog.  As I was paging thru the catalog I was thinking, Oh that one would be a good stamp set for those colors, or that one too, then I came to page 89 looked at the card on the top of the page and said that’s it!  I will use the card as my layout and use the Extreme Skateboard and Extreme Elements stamp sets.  With catalog in hand, colors in mind as well as layout and stamp sets, I headed downstairs to my stamp room.   Here is my Case on the catalog card:

I should have set the time, because I bet it took less than 10 minutes to create my card.  In and out of my stamp room without anyone noticing I was gone. 🙂

I love the challenges and when you can combine a couple of challenges all the better!
