Convention Swaps

Day 2 of convention. We are having a fabulous time and I can’t wait to get home and start making cards for my upcoming classes using all the cool new ideas I have seen so far. I know I will see lots more cool ideas and I’m going to be going into idea overload soon.

Part of the fun of convention or any Stampin’ Up! event is the swapping; so today I wanted to show you some of my swaps that I made.

This one uses the new stamp set Joyous Celebrations from the upcoming Holidiay Catalog. Do you see that gorgeous textured background? That is also in the Holiday catalog and that is the new Textured Impressions Embosssing Folder Holiday Frame. GORGEOUS! You will LOVE this frame! The Card stock colors for this card are the Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green. Yes, the bow on the front was made using the Double “D” Bow Maker.

Here is another one of my swaps:

This card uses more fun new toys from the new catalog. The stamp sets I used are the new Made for You and Everything Eleanor. This is a very simple card but still very beautiful. The new Elegant Butterfly punch with the Jewels makes this card just pop. The card stock colors are Marina Mist and Whisper White.

Make sure to check out yesterday’s post for upcoming events and the FREEBIE for the week.

Happy Stamping!
Glenda
