Embossing the Pretties Flowers

Friday, April 17, 2009

This month in my Clubs I taught them how to Dye or Color the Flowers in the Pretties kit.?? The sample today is actually embossing the Pretties Flower.

?

These are 2 samples just the center of the Pretties flower is done differently on each one.?

On the First sample I Spritzed the Large Pretties Flower with water and dipped it into my Black embossing powder and heat set, then I pushed the White Grommet thru the center and pounded down the prongs in the back using my hammer from the Tool kit, lastly I added the large 1/2 pearl from the Pretties kit using Crystal Effects.

On the Second sample I embossed the Large Pretties flower the same as the first card.? The next little flower I put about 5 drops of re-inker into a small plastic stamp box and added about 15 sprays of water and stuck the little Pretties flower in the container and coated it really good and let it dry.? On the smallest Pretties flower I inked it by just coloring it with the Pretty in Pink Marker.? I then assemble all the flower layers using glue dots and added a nice 1/2 Pearl from the Pretties kit to the center using Crystal Effects.

I wish you could see the flowers that are embossed in person they look just like leather.
