Encircled in Friendship 2021 Bundle Must Have In My Book!

Encircled in Friendship 2021

The Encircled in Friendship bundle is a must have in my book. The coordinating Encircled in Beauty dies has the perfect outside sentiments as well as inside sentiments.  The dies in this bundle are just beautiful and remind me of intricate doilies.

I created this card for one of the girls on my team as she is in a rehabilitation center having suffered complications after having Covid.  I just wanted to make her a pretty card to let her know I’m thinking about her and that she is continually in my thoughts and prayers.  I hope this card will brighten her day.

Encircled in Friendship 2021

I’m not sure what kind of flowers these are but for some reason I wanted to color them in purples with a splash of yellow.  Do you happen to know what kind of flower this is?   They reminded me of day lilies and I probably should have colored them in oranges or yellows but I just wanted to do a purple card.   I used the Highland Heather and Mango Melody Blends with the Granny Apple Green Blends.

The background print is from the 6 X 6 Subtles Designer Series Paper pack.

I love the different die elements in the Encircled in Friendship bundle because you can add the flower image to the center or use the center to a stamp your sentiment on.  You can pop the center up or leave it flush.  I did pop up the entire die cut piece on this card.  On the backside I fit the circle back inside the die cut piece and added strips of foam adhesive to hold it all in place.

I thought a nice little bow at the bottom of the die cut would make it appear almost like a wreath and since I didn’t have any small Highland Heather ribbon I went with the Gorgeous Grape ribbon and tied it into a double loop bow using my bow maker.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment and the little single flower from the stamp set and colored it with the blends.

  2. Glenda says:

Hi Jeanne, Thanks so much for commenting. I had surgery on June 1st and have had a few complications. I was hoping to be back stamping and video making within a week but that hasn’t happened. I’m getting there. The doctors said 6-8 weeks of recovery; but I was thinking I’ll be stamping in a week. I’m back stamping a bit but not like I had thought. Stay with me; I’ll be back. Any and all orders help greatly 🙂

Love this card!! I just fell in love with this bundle myself. The flower is a
tiger lily. They have spots on them and they come in many beautiful colors.
I think your friend will love this card. I pray she gets better.

  4. Glenda says:

Thanks Kathy, I appreciate the comment and letting me know what the flower is. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers; much appreciated!

I arrived at you blog by searching what these flowers were by the stamp name. Your card is lovely. I see it’s been a while, but you did ask, I’m pretty sure the flowers are Alstroemeria , commonly called Peruvian lily. Many images online look strikingly similar. It helps to know what color to make them when you know the variety of flowers. They come in purple, by the way!
