Fabric Petite Purse

Thursday, April 19, 2012

Today I’m going to show you the Petite Purse die and how to create the little purse using fabric. I must warn you the video is a little bumpy as I broke the tripod and the cameraman is a bit rusty and he got a little antsy at the end.

You will get 10 purses out of one of Stampin’ Ups fabric squares. The fabric I used was the new Summer Smooches fabric #125411 $9.95. The Big Shot Mulitpurpose Adhesive Sheets are sold on pg. 216 #120805 $14.95 and there are (12) 12 X 12 sheets in the package. You can get 3 purses out of 1 sheet; cut the sheet at 8″ x 12″; then cut this piece 5 1/4″ X 8″ and for the third purse you will piece the 4″ x 8″ and the 2 1/2″ X 8″ piece together. The Whisper White card stock was cut 5 1/4″ X 8 1/2″ and the fabric the same. The buttons I used were the Brights buttons #119747 $8.95.

If you have any further questions, please let me know. Don’t forget to check out the Retired Stamp Set list by clicking on the picture in the right hand side bar. Everyone who places an Online Order on my Stampin’ Up! website is getting one of the purses in the mail. It may be fabric or card stock. You can also place your order by clicking on the 24/7 picture in the top right hand corner of my blog. Thanks so much!

Again sorry for the shakey video but at least you get the idea on how to create these super cute fabric purses.

Thanks for stopping by,
Glenda

Glenda thank you so much for the video. I have had the adhesive sheets and never used them LOL. I love our fabric and am going to do the purses in them now. Thanks again
