Father’s Day Gifts

Thursday, June 7, 2012

This past Tuesday was my Big Shot class and it was Father’s Day or Gifts for Dad class. Here is the gifts ensemble they created:

I don’t know about your husband or dad but my husband likes to watch movies and enjoys popcorn and candy. So we created a card, gift card holder for his favorite Movie or Blockbuster video gift card, Little box for his Movie candy, and the Jiffy Pop Popcorn. What an adorable ensemble and Oh so Yummy!

Here is the Card for Dad:

This inspiration for this card was from Gretchen Barron. This one card was the inspiration for the rest of the ensemble.

Here is the Jiffy Pop:

We can purchase the Jiffy Pop Popcorn right at our local grocery store. All I did was remove the cardboard cover and traced it onto Whisper White card stock. The Marine Mist Circle was cut from the Largest Circle on the Retired Circle Scissors. The stamped ties are from the Best Dad Ever stamp set #120399 $18.95 wood or #120681 $14.95 clear. I also used the Big Shot and the new Apothecary Accents Framelits (it was a Big Shot class) to create the sentiment on the Jiffy Pop.

Here is a close up of the Gift Card Holder:

This was actually made using the Fancy Favor Box. Tomorrow I’ll have a video tutorial on how to make this gift card holder.

Here is the candy box:

This was also made using the Fancy Favor box just cut off the little scallop edge and assemble as usual.

Friday is the last day to get in on the FREE Double “D” Bow Maker when you place your order for my Ribbon Shares. To view all the shares see this post HERE.

Thanks for stopping by,
