Faux Quilt

Tuesday, January 10, 2012

Today I have another technique for you that was done at my techie class this week. Yesterday I showed you the Faux Metal and today is the Faux Quilt.

All you need is coordinating Designer Series Paper on my sample I used the new Twitterpated from the Occasions Mini. Take a 1″, 1 1/4″ or 1 3/8″ square punch and punch out a bunch of squares from the DSP. Take a piece of Whisper White card stock 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ and glue the squares in a pattern on the card stock. Run this thru the Big Shot using the Top Note Die. Next place it into the Lattice Square Impressions folder and run it thru the Big Shot again. You now have your Faux Quilt. Very Fun and easy!

Here is a side view:

Thanks for stopping by,
Glenda

Hi Glenda. This is a lovely card. Thank you for generously sharing how you accomplished it! I am going to make one for my uncle in “masculine colours” today.

    Happy New Year.

    Liz
