Faux White Wash Technique with Embossing Folders

Have you ever tried the Faux White Wash Technique? This is something I call this technique I'm sure there are other names out there but when I completed this technique it reminded me of a white wash so that's what I'm going with. I paired the Winter Snow embossing folder with the For Unto Us stamp set from Stampin 'Up! #thestampcamp #stampinup #technique

I thought this background turned out so pretty it really did not need a whole lot done to it other than a nice sentiment for the front.  I chose to use the Stampin’ Up! For Unto You stamp set and die cut out the sentiment with the Stampin’ Up! Layering Ovals Dies.  The card base is the Pretty Peacock as is the scallop oval under the sentiment.

I accented the sentiment with a Rhinestone in the star; which I thought about putting them in the snowflake centers as well but I wasn’t sure I would be happy unless every snowflake had a rhinestone.   I thought best to just do the star.
