Floral District DSP

Today I am heading back home to Michigan; convention is over and now the work is going to begin! I can’t wait to start working on class projects and kits. I have lots of ideas in store for you.

For today’s card I used the Red Hot Stampers sketch challenge.
Here is the sketch for this week:

Here is my take on the sketch:

When I looked at the sketch I thought it looked like a flower holding back the DSP fold, so that is what I decided to do. The color combination came from the Floral District #126919 $10.95 DSP.

To create the little flower all you need to do is punch out 5 scallop circles and using your paper piercer put a hole in the center and insert a brad. Now take one of our new Stampin Spritzers #126185 $2.95 and put water in it and spray your scallop circles. Scrunch up the first scallop circle, spray the next circle with water and scrunch it up; repeat this thru all the layers. As your flower dries it will remain srunched up and beautiful. I like to spray my finished flower with another Stampin’ Spritzer filler with alcohol and Shimmer paint to give my flower some pretty shimmer.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!
