Fun Fold Cards With The Stampin’ Up! Hues Of Happiness Paper

Today I have video for you on how to create these fun fold cards using the Stampin’ Up! Hues of Happiness designer series paper. Today’s cards are a twofer technique. What do I mean by a Twofer Technique? With today’s technique you will create 2 cards with just one piece of designer series paper.  That’s right just a piece of 3 3/4″  X 3 3/4″  designer paper and you will get not one fun fold birthday card but two like these.

I’m calling this a faux envelope technique because it looks like an envelope with a really beautiful flap.   Plus, I love the look you get with the Hues of Happiness paper prints.  The coordinating Happiness Abounds Bundle has all the dies you need to die cut out the flowers and leaves from this paper.  NOTE:  The paper IS AVAILABLE BUT the Happiness Abounds Bundle is NOT available to order at this time; it is scheduled to be back into the warehouse on July 4th.  Make sure to check back that week; I’ll post a reminder when it becomes available again.

These cards would be perfect for so many occasions; I chose the Happy Birthday sentiment as I do send out birthday cards to my team members every month.   The card base on these cards is Melon Mambo as is the sentiment; which is the only stamping I did on this card.  You could easily create these fun fold cards with any sentiment stamp set and hand cut the flowers out of the paper with a scissors or a scan and cut machine.

You can create many different variations of the Faux Envelope card and I’ll have to show you want I mean in future videos and blog post.  I love it when you can do a technique in a variety of ways and get the same look or similar look to your fun fold birthday cards.
