Gift Card Holder

December 6, 2008

I know you are disappointed no little plastic box today. LOL? I?think gift cards make a great?Christmas gift but I wanted something that was?quick and easy and something that I could enclose a little message with it too, so here is what I came up with.

I used Mr. Twigster to make up the front of my Gift card holder.? I also used assorted pieces of Designer Series paper and the felt flurries snowflakes and a build a brad.? The gift card itself is made from a 6 X 6 piece of Designer series paper.? First you fold the 6 x 6 piece in 1/2, open it up and turn it once and score at 2″.? Fold up at the 2″ score line and secure each end with sticky strip.? Fold in half and you have your gift card holder.? Attach to a piece of coordinating card stock.? Here is the inside picture which might help with the directions too.

I made a little note tag for the one pocket and on the other side is a pocket for the gift card.? Cute hugh!

Okay, if you want to make your gift card holder a little more feminine you can tie it shut with ribbon.? On this one I tied it shut with the Bashful Blue taffeta ribbon.? Make sure you run your ribbon around the gift card before you attach it to the back solid piece of cardstock and before you add your stamped image onto the front of your gift card holder.
