Sunday, March 8, 2009

Here is another embossing card the Hybrid club did this past week.? This card uses the new glitters that Stampin’ Up! sells and heat & stick?powder.

Recipe for this card:
SS:? Polka Dot Punches FREE with $50.00 order and a Retired Sympathy Set
Inks: Certainly Celery, Versamark, Sahara Sand
CS:? So Saffron, Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Delicate Dots DSP FREE with $50.00 order
Accessories:? Stampin’ Up! Backgrounds I Texturz Plate, Oval Frame Scallop, 5-Petal Flower Punch, Fine Cosmo Glitter, Fine Galaxy Glitter, Heat & Stick, Heat gun, 1/4″ punch, and Soft Subtles brads.?

When using Heat & Stick powder you want to heat it just until it is clear, then sprinkle on the glitter and heat again to melt the glitter into the Heat & Stick.

This is a very fun techique and gives the card an added punch!
