A very Happy Easter to You and Your Families!  I hope this blog post finds you and your families healthy and staying safe this Easter holiday.  We’ve been doing daily Facetime with Sophia and Giselle and keeping in touch with the kids by phone.  It looks like we’ll be doing a virtual Easter Egg hunt this year.

I thought I would bring back my Double Front Easter Promise Fun Fold Card.  This is a double front card and I used EVERY stamp in the Easter Promise Stamp Set.   This is the perfect stamp set to do this technique with.  It has the perfect inside and outside sentiments.

I thought I would post the video on how to create this card.  You will find it below in this blog post.

I call this a double front fun fold card because it has almost 2 full card fronts.

The Crocus were colored with the Highland Heather, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green Markers.  I didn’t use the Blends as I didn’t want it to bleed through to the inside of my card.

I did apply the Clear Wink of Stella over the top of the flowers after I colored them with the markers and that did make it show through to the backside a bit; so maybe I would omit that step.

The Ribbon was died with the Highland Heather Dark Blend.

The very inside of the card has the inside sentiment and the cross from the stamp set.  I colored the cross with the Blends.

The front of the card was embossed with the Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder but you could omit that as well.  In the video I eliminated the embossing on the front of the card; I think it lays much nicer.

What a great gift to give to someone you know who is working to take care of other’s during this time.  This would also make a great Mother’s Day Gift or maybe a Thank You gift to Teachers who are still trying to teach online and can’t be with their students in person.  Let all the helpers know you are thinking of them and help to put a smile on their faces.

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and God Bless!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
