Hardwood

Today I decided to use the sketch challenge from the Friday Mashup site.

Here is the sketch:

When I looked at this sketch I knew I wanted to use the Hardwood background stamp #133032 $17.95 or #133035 $13.95 again. I also knew I wanted to use it with the Lovely As A Tree stamp set again as well. Another perfect masculine card.

Here is my take:
Lovely As A Tree

I also like to use the new Essentials Wooden Elements #132258 $4.95 with this background stamp.

Here’s a close up:

Before I stamped the tree on the Very Vanilla card stock I stamped the Hardwood image; but first I stamped it off onto my scrap paper giving it a lighter shade.

I’m really liking this combination of Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Hardwood background and Lovely As a Tree.

Remember a couple weeks ago I showed you another Lovely As a Tree card with the Hardwood background. Here are both of the cards together so you can see how gorgeous they are:
Two Trees

I can see a whole group of these masculine cards in my future. Stayed tuned! 🙂

If you would like to purchase any of these products please go to my website HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Glenda, beautiful card! I love the colors, the stamps, and the way you did the sketch challenge- and I would say the Lovely as a Tree is a “timeless” set! Thanks for sharing at the Friday Mashup this week!
