Multi-Color Embossing

Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Today is the sketch challenge at Try Stamping on Tuesday. Here is the sketch for this week:

Here is my take on the sketch:

Last night in my Card Club we did different techniques using embossing. This was one of the cards they did. It is the Multi-Color Embossing technique. We stamped the flower from the Mixed Bunch stamp set #125535 $27.95 wood or #125537 $21.95 clear using Versamark ink and then put the Tempting Turquoise embossing powder and the Tangerine Tango embossing powders on and heat set. We then added the Fabric brad 125589 $6.95 from the Summer Smooches collection. These brads are going to be gone soon and not available in the new catalog so now is the time to get them. The DSP was from the Summer Smooches DSP 125409 $10.95 collection as well. This card is very striking in person and was a favorite at the class.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping,
Glenda
