Not Your Typical Christmas Colors

Tuesday, November 22, 2011

My card sample today meets a couple of different challenges. The layout is from Stamping 411.

Here is my take on the sketch:

Yes, Snow Much Fun again! It was out on my table and it fit the sketch; so you have another card sample using this set. I don’t think you can ever have enough samples for 1 stamp set. I embossed the Whisper White with the Snow Burst Impressions folder again and then embossed it with Iridscent Ice embossing powder. The color scheme was for another challenge called the Late Night Stampers challenge. The Challenge was to create a Christmas card with non-Christmas colors. I used Black, Tempting Turquoise and Whisper White.

Now the 3rd challenge was to create a card using items from the Online Extravaganza sale going on right now. So I used the Glimmer Brad Bundle #129034 $10.40 and the 1/2″ Scallop Dots Ribbon Bundle #129035 $22.26.

The Online Extravaganza Glimmer Brads Bundle contains three Glimmer Brad assortments—Basics, Brights, and Subtle—all for 30 percent off the retail price! Each assortment contains 40 3/8” brads in five colors (8 ea. of 5 colors):
* Basics: Basic Black, Basic Gray, Champagne, Silver, Gold
* Brights: Real Red, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive
* Subtles: So Saffron, Perfect Plum, Wild Wasabi, Rose Red, Marina Mist

The Online Extravaganza Ribbon Bundle contains four packages of 1/2″ Scallop Dots Ribbon in Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, and Old Olive. This adorable grosgrain ribbon with printed white polka dots on one side and scallop edges with pinholes can be used to dress up any project in style!
Ribbon is approximately 1/2″ wide; each package of ribbon contains approximately 10 yards.
This exclusive bundle—30 percent off the retail price—is only available November 21-30!

Online Extravaganza Sale goes until November 30, 2011. To view the deals go to my blog HERE.
