Pretty Flowers With Scalloped Contour Dies Simply Beautiful

Scalloped Contour Dies, Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder

The Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder with the Scalloped Contour Dies create a beautiful card in no time!  This card would be so pretty for any occasion.   I needed a Thank you card so that’s what I went with; but it would also make a great birthday, thinking of you, sympathy, or wedding  card as well.

It might be hard to see in the photo but I used the Blending Brushes with the Fresh Freesia ink pad to add some depth and increase the look and feel to the pretty flowers embossed image.  By brushing the coordinating ink color to the embossed image you add dimension and intensify the embossing.  I also think it gives the card stock the look of velvet or a velveteen look to it.

This was another card I created for a group that I’m in; so yes you will find the PDF file below in this blog post.

The sentiment that I used for this card is from the Big Wishes stamp set.   I then used the Scalloped Contour Dies to die cut it out.  These dies create great mats for sentiments as well as stamped images.  I used a couple different sizes on today’s card.

As you can see in this angle I also cut a strip of Fresh Freesia and embossed it and added it to the inside of the card at the bottom.  With this angle you can see the embossed image and how the ink brushed over it makes the embossed image pop more.

Last but not least a nice Fresh Freesia bow to add to the sentiment to finish it off.
