Red Hot Stamper Sketch Challenge

Sunday, March 18, 2012

Today is the Sketch Challenge for the Red Hot Stampers. Here is the sketch for this week:

I’ve had request lately for sympathy cards. When I looked at this sketch, I thought I think this would make a simple but beautiful sympathy card.
So here is my take on the sketch:

You can’t go wrong with the Mocha Morning Specialty Papers. This paper is like magic it makes every card beautiful, simple and elegant. I love the softness of the color and I think it is just beautiful.

Recipe:
CS: Mocha Morning Specialty, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
Ink: Crumb Cake
SS: Thoughts and Prayers
Accessories: Big Shot, Tulip Impressions Folder, Large Oval Punch, Lots of Tags die #114508 $21.95, Double “D” Bow Maker, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon (sorry this is retired I have a little stash left yet 🙂 )

If you didn’t see yesterday’s post the FREEBIE for this week is the Double “D” Bow Maker. I did the Triple bow on my card sample for today. For details see yesterday’s post or click on the second picture of the bow maker in the right hand side bar.

Head on over to the Red Hot Stampers Blog and check out the other very pretty cards done using this sketch.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!
