Stampin’ Up! Deck the Halls Designer Series Papers

Friday, November 5, 2010

Hello Everyone,  I was on the waiting list to be in a Blog Tour today, but they didn’t need me so the next few days samples are going to be what I was going to showcase in the tour.  My post went live before I knew it and I pulled it; so some of you may have viewed my samples already. 🙂

The stamp set I used for today’s card is called Big on Christmas.   I also used the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper.

First I embossed the word Noel using black craft ink and black embossing powder; then I colored it in using Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke markers.  Next I painted over the top using the Champagne Mist Shimmer paint.  I used the Platinum Shimmer paint for the ornament top.  I cut away the Designer Series paper and inserted my stamped image.  This Designer Series paper is so beautiful you can create great cards with minimal stamping and just showcase the DSP.   I also painted the Designer Series paper using the Champange Mist Shimmer paint on the holly berries.

I will be showcasing the Big on Christmas stamp set and the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper for the next few days so check back tomorrow for another beautiful quick and easy card using these products.

Have a Great Day!
Glenda
