Seasonally Scattered and Santa & Co DSP

Tuesday, October 21, 2014

Today I have a cool new technique for you and another print from the Santa & Co DSP.  I told you to tune in all week long to see what I did with the different prints from this paper pack; so if you missed the last 2 days of post you’ll want to go back and check them out.

Seasonally Scattered and the Santa & Co DSP

I thought this background paper looked a little like candy canes so I went with the Red and White.

The Merry is from the Seasonally Scattered set and cut out using the Ovals Collection Framelits.

You will notice the Real Red mat is a little different and you might be wondering how did she do that? Well I saw this idea on LeeAnn Greff’s blog and she got it from her downline Marilyn. I decided I’d do a video on it so you can see just how quick and easy it is.

Here’s the video:

Isn’t that just too cool? Super easy and if you used a circle instead of the oval I think it would look just like a Christmas bulb. I’ll give it a whirl and let you know.
