Simple & Quick Butterflies

Wednesday, March 7, 2012

Today is the Stampin’ Queens Sketch Challenge and here is the sketch:

When I first looked at this sketch the bitty buttons came to mind right away, but then as I looked at it longer it looked more like 3 groups of 4 dots. I was thinking of flowers and saw the butterflies already cut out on my desk and thought perfect!

I used the tulip Impressions folder to create the little flower border on my card. I also used the Perfectly Penned stamp set for the sentiment. This could be a birthday, anniversary or even a wedding card. The little Pearl jewels just add the right touch to the butterflies. The card stock colors are Black, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.

Don’t forget this is my anniversary month and if you sign up for a class or place a min. $25.00 order on my website you will receive the little 3 x 3 notecards that are in the right hand side bar.

If you would like to see more card samples done using this sketch head on over to the Stampin’ Queens blog and check them out.

Thanks for stopping by,
Glenda
