Snow Much Fun Peek a Boo

Saturday, September 8, 2012

I bet you think I am home, but I am in Okemos Michigan for Ronda Wade’s mini convention. I arrived Thursday night with my downline Belinda. We both participated in a ShoeBox Swap on Thursday night.

Here is my Shoebox Swap card:

Some of you may think this card looks very familiar because I did this in my card club this month using the Peekaboo Frames die #124587 $32.95.

To create this card I first cut out the circle peekaboo frame and then glued it into place on a piece of white card stock. I then placed it inside the Northern Flurry Folder #120902 $7.95 so that the big snowflake center was in the center of my glued on peekaboo frame and ran it thru the Big Shot. I stamped a snowflake from the Mixed Medley Hostess Stamp Set #128054 wood or #128057 clear and punched it out with the 1 1/4″ Circle punch #119861 $15.95 and attached it to the peekaboo frame.

Now want to see what’s inside the peekaboo frame?

Well it is a tiny Merry Christmas of course! This is from the Mixed Medley stamp set as well. The card stock colors are Whisper White and Marina Mist.

Today I am doing a demonstration for Ronda’s mini convention. I’m a little nervous but really like the project I made so that makes it exciting too. I will be showing you my project(s) on Monday and I also made up a video to show you how to make them. 🙂 See you on Monday! If you want to be reminded Like me on facebook or subscribe to my blog to get all the latest updates and daily inspiration.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by,
Glenda

Glenda, sorry I wasn’t there to see your demo. Love your card with peek-a-boo-haven’t made one yet. Tell Belinda I said HI. Have fun and maybe see you at next one.
