Today is the Stampin’ Queens Sketch Challenge and here is the sketch for today:

Here is my take on the sketch:

Not your typical Christmas colors but the layout was screaming elegant and full of Pearls to me. I’m not ready to put all my Christmas stamp sets away yet and the Mocha Morning Specialty paper was laying out on my table so why not. I love this DSP it is so elegant and I love the velvet texture. I guess you would call it flocking. Here is a close up of the bells:

I colored the holly and berries with markers and then painted over them with the champagne mist shimmer paint. I colored the ribbon with the frost white shimmer paint and the bells with the champagne mist shimmer paint. For the finishing touch I added all the pearls. Love them!
