Stampin’ Up! Awash with Flowers Grouping

Tuesday, July 27, 2010

Today’s sample I’m going to show you was a limited challenge for me.? I did this grouping a while back; some of the cards you may have already seen and other’s you have not.?? This is really a great way to bring out your creative side and see what you can come up with.? When I was preparing for my 3D swap for convention I was out to the cottage so I had to bring along minimal supplies.? I chose my color combination of Pretty In Pink, Whisper White and Basic Black.? I chose my stamp set Awash with Flowers and brought along some sketches from previous challenges.? The inks I brought were the same as the paper colors except I added the Pear Pizzazz.? I also brought a few punches and some ribbon.? I decided I wanted to make a grouping of cards with a box for my 3D swap.? I found a box pattern that I liked and began to make up the cards.? I already showed you my convention 3D swap using the Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz and Greenhouse Gala collection; which is the first Project class coming up, check it out here.? What I’m showing you today was my first attempt at my swap idea but when you have to make 13 samples to swap you have scale it back a bit or I’d still be making my swap.

I did 6 cards each one a different layout but all using the same color scheme and stamp set.?
Here they are separately:

?

I guess I forgot to take a picture of one of the cards, it is the one that looks like the one on the cover of the box.? It has the Diamond shape on the front.?

You should give the limited challenge, 1 focal stamp set and same color scheme a try.? I think you will be surprised how easy it is and how much you enjoy your grouping.

Have a Great Day!
