Stampin’ Up! Batty for You Treat Holder

Sunday, August 29, 2010

This past week I had a workshop and the hostess requested all Halloween themed projects.? We made a 6 x 6 scrapbook page, an invitation and a treat holder.? I’ve already shown you the scrapbook page and the invitation so here is the treat holder that everyone made:
?

This is one of the tags from the 2 tags die.? All you need to do is run?your card stock ?thru the Big Shot; stick a piece of sticky strip on one end and wrap the tag around a candy bar.? Punch out a scallop circle and attach it to the tag; stamp an image; punch it out using the 1 3/8″ circle punch and attach it?to the tag and you are done.? You can make baby favors, wedding favors, birthday favors just by changing up the stamped image.? I love this quick and easy treat holder because my son?can quickly make these up himself for his birthday treat for school.

Now, let me see your Treat Holders!

Have a Great Day!

These were so cute I made a bunch up for the craft sale. I held the shut with red line sticky tape, but they are all coming open. What did you use to keep them to stay shut or is this just going to be a thorn in my flesh? Normally we say be careful w/ the red line cuz it isn’t forgiving & then I have things pop right open. Suggestions?
