Stampin’ Up! Christmas Lodge

Wednesday, August 31, 2011

It’s Wednesday and time for another Stampin’ Queens sketch challenge! I’m having so much fun with the sketches and I hope you are too. I have my new stamp sets laying out from the new Holiday Mini catalog and decided to go with another Christmas card. This card uses the new set called Christmas Lodge (#123767 $33.95 wood or #123769 $25.95 clear) and I used the coordinating Designer Series Paper called Frostwood Lodge (#124002 $10.95). You are going to LOVE this new mini and ordering starts tomorrow!

Here is the sketch for this week:

Here is my take on the sketch:

The center image with the house was smooched with Versamark and then I poured on the Irredscent Ice embossing powder and heat set. Here is a close up:

I couldn’t resists the little birds on the branch and here is a close up of that:

I colored the birds and branch with markers and then used a blender pen to blend the Cherry Cobbler on the one birds stomach.

Click on over to the Stampin’ Queens blog and check out all the other fabulous cards.

Have a Great Day!
Glenda

I love your card! Can you tell me what size it is, I’m a new demonstrator and card maker so any help would be great! Thanks, Candy
