Stampin’ Up! Festival of Trees

Wednesday, August 27, 2014

Well yesterday we went and visited the High School and got Dean (yup the cameraman/bow maker is in high school; I know I can’t believe it either seems like only yesterday he was asking if the wadies were coming to stamp) his schedule, picture taken, ID and locker. Then it was on to Staples for School supplies and dinner at Red Robin.

Here are the weekly deals for this week:

Another great week for deals! I Love, Love, Love the Circle Framelits I have two sets of these and use them all the time.

Today’s card was done for the sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.

Here’s the sketch:

Here is my take on the sketch:
Festival of Trees

This is the new Festival of Trees stamp set which has a coordinating tree punch; but I went with the Oval Framelits instead.

I stamped the tree in Garden Green ink and the little red dots are Cherry Cobbler. I then smooshed the Oval ink Versamark and embossed it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder.

The DSP is from the new Trim the Tree DSP Stack.

The sentiment is from the Holiday Homes stamp set and punched out using the Modern Label punch. I added a Cherry Cobbler candy dot to each end.

The bow was made using the Double D Bow Maker and the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding ribbon.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
