Today is the sketch challenge at Try Stampin’ On Tuesday.

Here is the sketch for this week:

Sketch3

Here is my take on the sketch:

wedding

My first thought was how do I create the little swirly image across the top and down the side.  I came up with the idea to use the 1/2″ Seam Binding Pool Party  Ribbon #125582 $6.95 and scrunch it up to make the swirly image.

The next step was to decide on a stamp set to use.  I decided to use the Love & Laughter #128433 $22.95 or #125477 $17.95 because I have a wedding coming up and thought this would fit perfectly with the sketch.

The cake was embossed using VersaMark and the Pool Party embossing powder; then punched out using the 2 1/2″ Circle Punch #120906 $16.95.  The Black Scallop Circle was made using the Big Shot and the Perfect Pennants Bigz die #123126 $32.95.

The little flower was made using the new Simply Pressed Clay #130685 $6.95 and the Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds #131272 $7.95.

I colored the clay flower using the Stampin Spritzer #126185 $2.95 filled with alcohol and Pool Party Reinker.

The little leaves are made using the Bird Builder punch #117191 $16.95.

The sentiment was from the same stamp set as the cake.

The front piece was run thru the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Impressions folder #119976 $7.95.

Thanks again for stopping by and if you would like to order any of these products please go to my website HERE.

Have a Great Day!
