Today is my husband’s birthday; if you join me for my Live Events then you’ve met Bill. He is my Computer expert extraordinaire; LOL.
Today’s card is a Tent Topper card which I showed during my last Live Event. There really isn’t a twist with this card like I showed during my live event except that I used the Deco Label Framelits instead of the Circles or Ovals.
I did do a little something different on this card and that is my background. This is a super fun technique and I will show it to you next week Tuesday for my Tuesday’s Tips & Techniques video.
Since I was making today’s card for my husband and he is a hunter; I wanted to create a somewhat camouflage paper to use and I knew right away I wanted to use the Wilderness Awaits stamp set.
The ink colors I used to create the background paper was Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Garden Green.
The Birthday Greetings sentiment is from the Wetlands stamp set.
To finish it of I wrapped the Linen thread around a few times and then attached a Gold Metal button tied with linen thread.
