Techniques Class – Frosted Embossed Background

Thursday, November 29, 2012

Today in the Online Techniques class we will be doing the Frosted Embossed Backgound technique.

Here is the card that was made in the video:

After video taping this technique my son Dean (AKA the Cameraman) asked if he could make this card for a couple of his teachers. I said sure everything is right here and you just watched me do it so go right ahead. His cards turned out beautifully; I’m sure the teachers will love them. He is giving one to his art teacher thanking her for teaching him art and the second one is for his first hour teacher Mrs. Kooienga. I had to pick him up from school on Tuesday; he was vomiting and passed out a couple of times in Mrs. Kooienga’s class. So he is thanking her for taking care of him and calling the principle. The only thing we can figure is he had scrambled duck eggs in the morning and he may have had an allergic reaction. We just found out about a month ago that he has Celiac and 35 food allergies. It has been a roller coaster of emotions for him and a whole new cooking world for me. One of his allergy’s is eggs but the doctor told us that he could most likely have duck eggs. Well now we are questioning that. 🙁 He’s doing fine now and is back to school. Anyways back to the technique and video.

Here is the video on this super easy technique:
