The Quiet Meadow Bundle Makes A Perfect Silhouette With the Watercolor Wash

Quiet Meadow Bundle stampin up

It’s Try It Thursday and today I put a spin on the Watercolor Wash technique from Technique Tuesday’s technique.  I added the Quiet Meadow Bundle negative die cut for a silhouette image and let the Watercolor Wash come through the die cut opening.

After I die cut out the flower image from a piece of Very Vanilla card stock I thought hey, that might look really nice on the front of a card as well and just let the Watercolor Wash come through.

What do you think?

There was literally no waste to the Very Vanilla card stock.  I used the die cut piece for Technique Tuesday’s card and the negative of the die cut for today’s card.  Two cards 1 sheet of Watercolor card stock and 1 piece of Very Vanilla card stock.

I love the Quiet Meadow Bundle and I’m sure you’ll be seeing it a lot more.  I have lots of plans for all the different die cut images from this bundle.

To add some texture and dimension to the card front I used the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.

I thought the Hello Sentiment was perfect for this card and it fit just right inside the little die cut tag; all tied up with a little linen thread.

A little bling of Peals to finish off the card and it is complete.
