Tuesday’s Tips & Techniques today is using the Red Velvet Paper and the Felt Sheets!  Yes, you can die cut and emboss the Velvet and the Felt Sheets and I LOVE the results!  Choose any of the Stampin’ Up! dies that have a bit of embossing to the die cuts and it shows up so pretty on the velvet or the felt.

Join me tonight via video at 7:30PM EST on my YouTube Channel or Facebook page “The Stamp Camp” to see how this card was created.

I also tried the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper on this card as well.  It is a vellum paper with flocking designs; so pretty!  The trick to this paper is to remember it is vellum so any adhesive will show through to the front side.   I forgot about that when I was creating this card so you can see a bit of my adhesive.  In the video I’ll give you a tip for applying adhesive.

With the Poinsettia Petals Bundle you can create some beautiful poinsettias and leaves because not only do they cut but emboss the image into the velvet or felt.  On today’s card I used the green and early espresso felt and the real red velvet.  The ribbon is the Early Espresso Faux Suede Ribbon from the Annual catalog.

I really really love the Beaded Pearls for the Poinsettia flowers and did you know that you can color them in any color that you want with the Stampin’ Up! Blends!
