Vellum Square Doilies Used As A Stencil

Have you tried using the Vellum Square Doilies as a stencil? If not you will want to give it a try; the results are spectacular. Vellum Square Doilies used as a stencil!  WHAT?  Yes, what you see is actually a piece of Whisper White card stock with the Vellum Square Doily used as a stencil on it.

If you joined me on Tuesday night on my Facebook page or YouTube Channel “The Stamp Camp”; then you saw me create the Misty Moonlight card shown above.  If you missed the live event; no worries you will find the video below in this blog post.

I did the Just Jade for my Tuesday’s blog post and then during the live I did the card in the Misty Moonlight.  After the live event I created the Magenta Madness card below.  I think they all turned out beautiful; don’t you?

I used this month’s featured stamp set the Prized Peony Bundle and the Square Vellum Doilies.

I really love the shading and different tones of the Just Jade on this card.  Yes, another technique where the results will vary.

Yes, the prized peony flowers on all these cards were left over pieces from my left over stash pile.

You may be wondering what I did on the inside?  This leads me to technique #2 using the Square Vellum Doilies.

The sentiment on the inside is from the Beautiful Friendships stamp set and the die to cut it out is from the Tasteful Labels dies.

What are you waiting for?   Give this fun technique a try.  I would love to see your results!  Email me a picture of your results if you give it a try or email me and let me know how it went for you.  With this type of technique results will vary; but I’m sure each and every card will be beautiful.  It varies based on how much ink you brayer on and the directions that you brayer in.  You can see the difference in my samples but I think they are all beautiful.
