Wedding Album Cover

Sunday, July 11, 2010

We are off today to Hesperia to visit my brother and his family at their cottage.? My Sister and her family and my other brother and his family and my Mom and Dad are all going too so it should be a very nice time together.? We will be celebrating my Dad’s birthday and enjoying our day together.

I showed you a couple of pages yesterday that I made for my niece’s wedding album, well today I’m going to show you the album cover.? The album is 6 X 6 and the color is the Stampin’ Up! Natural.? I took the album and embellished it to make it more elegant looking.

I tied the Basic Black Striped Grosgrain ribbon around the side.? I?typed the wedding date on the computer and punched it out with the Designer Label punch.???I took the punched piece and?stuck it behind the matching Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware piece and glued it in place.? I used the Baroque Motifs stamp set and the Basic Gray ink pad.? I first inked up the stamps then I used the Champagne Mist Shimmer paint and sponged it over the inked image before stamping onto the album.? Once stamped I poured on the clear embossing powder and embossed the images.? I then applied the 1/2 pearls on the flower centers using crystal effects.?

So what do you think?

Have a Great Day!

This is very, very elegant, and the details you added are beautiful. You could never find one as wonderful as this in a store – it will certainly make their day something to remember, and remember your making it just for them. Mary L
