Would you like to be a Techie?

Saturday, September 12, 2009

My husband is a computer techie or as I call him a computer geek.? Well, I got to thinking I’m kind of?a techie too but in a different way.? I’m a Technique geek or techie for short. :)? Yesterday I was playing around with my Shimmer Paint (from the New Holiday Mini) and came up with different techniques for this wonderful new product.? The first card was done using the Classic ink Real Red and the Champagne Shimmer Paint; I call this technique the Shimmered Classics.

?

After completing this card I decided I would like to start a techie class.? This New Techie class will meet once a month and each month?when you come to class you will?make 6 technique?pages using different products and accessories to create the different techniques that you can use on your cards or in your scrapbooks.? If you come to this class for 8 months you will have 48 different techniques plus all of our 48 core color families.? It is not mandatory to come to all 8 months of class if you can’t come but would still like the technique pages for your booklet, you may purchase the pages.?

Here is a sample of a technique page.

The cost of the class is $10.00 and our first class date is Monday, September 28 at 10AM Or 7PM OR Tuesday, September 29 at 10AM or 7PM.? Please pre-register for this class and let me know which class time you will be attending.? If you can’t come to class but want the 6 technique pages completed as shown and mailed to you; I will mail you the completed pages for $12.00.? You may pay by Credit Card or Pay Pal.? Drop me an email by clicking on the Email Me Mailbox in the upper left hand column.

Some?of the other?techniques we will be making using the Shimmer Paints are:? Embossed Shimmering Markers, Embossed Shimmering Classics, and Shimmered Impressions.

Are you a Techie?
