Embossed Shimmering Markers Video

Wednesday, July 7, 2010

Today I have the Video on the Embossed Shimmering Markers for you.? I forgot to mention on the Video that the cameraman is back to normal from the dog bite, but he just had braces put on?yesterday so that has been a little stressful.?? The poor kid he’s been thru the mill lately.? He says the camera was a little shakey due to the medicine they used to put the braces on.

I hope you enjoyed this new technique.? This is just another really cool use for your markers.? Now if you want to emboss and all you have are certain marker colors all you need is the Champagne Mist Shimmer paint and clear embossing powder and your heat tool.?

Just a reminder that you do need to clean your stamp after each use.? You do not want to get the Shimmer paint on your markers or your classic ink pads.? Yes, that’s right you can emboss with your classic ink pads using this same technique.???I love the Shimmer; it gives your cards a great WOW factor.

Don’t you just Love this level 1 Hostess set?? Want to earn it for FREE?? Like I said in the Video host a workshop, host a catalog party or place a min. $150.00 order on my Stampin’ Up! website and you can choose this stamp set for FREE PLUS receive an additional $15.00 of FREE Products.?

Did you see the technique on embossing using Versa first, then marker or classic stamp pad, then Clear embossing powder. That turns out real pretty too. I will have to give this technique a try and see them side by side. Funny – I used the same stamp set for that technique. I just love it

Thanks so much for sharing your technique! It is a beautiful card. Hope that your camera man is feeling better!

Cool! How did you keep all the stamped flowers “wet” before you clear embossed that piece of card stock?

I enjoyed the tutorial, but not the movement of the camera. I was yelling “stop moving the camera”. I hope you aren’t offended by my comment, but will consider it as a helpful comment.
