Well my mother had 3 stints put in her heart yesterday and what a night we had last night.? She was hallucinating big time and was pulling her wires and the next thing we knew she was choking.? Apparently one of the medicines they gave her; gave her an allergic reaction and her uvula was swollen so bad she couldn’t swallow and felt like she was choking.? Once we figured this out they gave her Benadryl and some other medicine to bring down the swelling and finally get some sleep.? They are talking about discharging her to a rehabilitation center on Sunday.? My sister and I are suppose to visit these centers all by tomorrow.
While I was talking to the Therapist at the hospital this morning my cell phone starts ringing which I ignored.? The next phone to ring was my dad’s and it was for me.? Apparently my middle son was playing football at school and someone elbowed him in the face and 1/2 of his bottom front tooth was gone.? So I’m off, leave the hospital pick up my son, go to the dentist and they put a solvent over the exposed nerves until something can be done next week.? We see a specialist on Monday to determine our next step.
Well I believe we are on the homeward stretch with my Mom it has been almost 3 weeks in the hospital and now a couple more weeks of therapy, but she is still with us and feeling better every day.? We are hoping the hallucinations will go away and that with the therapy she will be way better than her old self very soon.
As far as my son goes, we are just beginning with that issue and I’m sure after about 4 or 5 dentist visits that will be done too.? A broken off tooth isn’t that big an issue just not the best timing.?
Thanks for all your support and prayers.? I’m not exactly sure when I’ll be posting anything stamping related, but I’m sure it will be before the end of November. 🙂

Dear Glenda,
I’m so happy to hear things went well for your mom.
It is such a stressful time. Still praying for you and your family.
(and now your son specifically). Don’t forget to take care of yourself.
Love and prayers,
Lori
