Yesterday we went to Lansing MI to watch our middle son Neil take his oath into the United States Marine Corp.
He will be leaving for boot camp in March.
It was nice that we were all able to attend this special day.
Today’s card was done for the sketch challenge at the Paper Craft Crew.
The challenge was to make a card using Stripes, Favorite Christmas Color and a Winter Theme.
I love to use gold embossing on my cards so I went with the gold embossing of the sentiment from the Antique Tags Hostess Exclusive stamp set. This is a New Years card. I cut out the sentiment with the Oval Framelits.
The Stripes and Snowflakes are from the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack.
I added a Pearl jewel to the snowflake centers to finish it off.
