Movers & Shapers Wedding

Tuesday, May 11, 2010

Today’s card sample was made using the Movers & Shapers die (1114506 $42.95) and the Heart Shaped die from the Punch Windows (#115953 $29.95) die set.?

My nephew is getting married this weekend so I thought this would be a great card for them.? This next picture shows you how the hearts are punched out on the front of the card.

You cut one heart first then carefully move the heart up and over and run it thru the big shot again to get the double hearts.? I then cut out the black and white hearts using the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits die.? I Stuck a couple of pearls from the Pretties kit on the white heart and made a bow tie using the white grosgrain ribbon and the Rhinestone brads; ?punched a hole thru the black heart and stuck in the brad.?

We made this card in my Big Shot club yesterday and one of my customer’s asked where the gift card could go.? Hmmm I said, good question.? She said how about if we make a pocket.??We took the White card cut a 1/2 circle on the one end then ran?the sticky strip on three sides leaving the end open and attached it to the piece of Black card stock to create the pocket.? Here is a picture of the inside:

Next?all you need to do is cut a piece of cardstock the desired size attach a tab to the end and attach your gift card to the card stock.? There now you have a pocket with easy access to get your gift card in and out.? Very Tricky! 🙂

Thanks Laurie for the Great Idea!

Hint😕 Make sure you write on the inside of your card before you add the tabbed card stock piece with the gift card. :)? Trust me 🙂
